FAQ Wedding Questions:
Can we BYO? - Yes we are BYO
Can we bring our own catering? - Yes you can arrange catering vendors to attend ( we have some suggestions should you need hlep)
Can we accommodate more than 33? - Yes you can add camping or use the extra accommodation located within walking distnace Airbnbs/Campground
Can we bring children? - yes of course! Childre are welcomed for weddings and private events. (we can arrange WWC certified babysitting services)
Can we bring our dog? - Yes dogs can attend ceremonies and we have 2 x pet friendly cottages for overnight stays. Dogs cannot be left unattended in cottages (we can offer dog sitting services)
Can you arrange or suggest transport for our guests? - Yes there are a couple of local businesses offering transport - minibus/small coach to pick up and drop off guests who may be staying in Bunbury/Busselton/Bridgetown/Dunsbourough
How many cottages do you have? - 7
Can we just book the cottages and hold our wedding? - No sorry; we are regulated by Local Government and insured to hold weddings; there is a lot more to holding a wedding that just 'rocking up'
Do your hire the furniture?- Yes we can hire most bits you are likely to. need for your wedding; our packages include the major items you are likely to need; Arbour, signing desk, chairs, decor. We also have a dancefloor and stretch tent.
Do you have a covered area? - We have a covered gazebo and covered deck which can be used as back up for small outdoor weddings of up to 30 guests. Bigger weddings hire the stretch tent to provide a weather proof option.

Can I bring my small friendly dog?
We have introduced Teal Spa Cottage and Blue Wren Cottage as Pet Friendly. Please note Blue Wren does not have a spa.

Dogs may not be left unattended in the cottage for any length of time.
Dogs must be kept on a lead when outdoors on our property, owners must pick up after their dog.
One pet is permitted in the pet-friendly cottages; additional pets or dogs must be approved in writing prior to arrival.
Dogs must remain clear of our resident alpacas at all times; alpacas do not like dogs.
An additional cleaning fee of $30 per pet per day applies.
Assistance dogs are not considered to be pets and are welcomed. Proof of assistance status will need to be provided prior to arrival.

We will send out our package price list with specific information for any special requests. We offer a bespoke tailored solution rather than a cookie-cutter package.
Can I bring children to a wedding?
Children, with supervision, are welcomed to attend weddings and events where the whole venue is booked by the group.
Children remain the responsibility of the parents or guardian. We have fishponds and water features on our property which carers should note.
Accommodation
Can I bring children to stay at a cottage?
As most of our guests come to relax in the peace and tranquility that is Jalbrook Estate we have a NO CHILDREN policy.
Children are welcomed for WEDDINGS and GROUP bookings where the whole property is hired.
Children are considered to be guests aged 0-17.
