“Enjoyed a lovely relaxing weekend at Jalbrook. From the well equipped cottage and friendly hosts to the cosy fire, private spa, home baked bread, beautiful gardens, abundant bird life, alpacas and great pizza night, everything was perfect for an escape from the city.”
“We have found our new favourite place in the south-west of WA. Alan and Jan were so warm and welcoming, and so helpful with what to do in the local area. The cottages were clean and cosy with all the simple touches making it so special. Chocolates on the bedside table, fresh fruit in a bowl on the table, fresh flowers around the cottage, and a warm freshly baked loaf of bread in a pot waiting for us on arrival all made us feel welcome and special. A newspaper was placed on our door stop every morning and we had bacon, eggs and cereal, yoghurt and fruit saw us through two breakfasts which was fantastic. We spent time in our fluffy robes after our rejuvenating spa.The wood fire was great to snuggle up to in the evening as it got cool, and Alan made sure the wood pile outside was replenished each day. The private garden was amazing and we felt like we were tucked away in our own little paradise. We will definitely be back, and were very sad to leave!”
“My wife and I had a fantastic time away at Jalbrook. As a romantic weekend away in a log fire cabin is something special. It was very relaxing the moment we arrived at the property. We stayed at the teal cabin, with had a very comfortable large king size bed.”
“This was our second trip to jalbrook. We had such a wonderful time the first time, it was the only place for us to stay to celebrate a special occasion. Jan, Alan and Molly were very welcoming and Alan’s pizzas are very yummy! We stayed in the corella room which was beautifully appointed and overlooked the alpacas. The warm spa was just what we needed to destress and relax. There’s so much to do in this south west area, definitely worth a visit and stay.”
