Jalbrook, the premier retreat in the Blackwood River Valley, with six de-luxe rammed earth cottages is a private haven of peace and tranquillity. Harmonious, beautifully appointed purpose built cottages are set amongst exquisite cool climate gardens showcasing a wide range of deciduous trees, shrubs and thousands of bulbs for all seasons. The gardens are dotted with interesting sculpture to entice you to wander the property, to meet and greet our exquisite resident alpacas and be captivated forever.
This is the ideal destination to relax, rejuvenate and to reconnect with each other.
Located an easy three hour drive from Perth in the heart of the Blackwood River Valley this beautiful property is situated 1km from the village of Balingup and is adjacent to the world famous Bibbulmun Walking Track.
Four of the cottages are for couples only with very private hot-tub Jacuzzis set in a covered pavilion adjacent to your cottage. The Jacuzzi for your use only is the ultimate place to unwind with a glass of wine and soak your stress away. King size beds, crackling log fires, huge lounging day beds on your deck to curl up and watch the hundreds of birds or just veg out with a book.
The two bedroom cottages are ideal for two couples wanting time out in beautiful surrounds and overlook Balingup Brook. Queen size beds, pot belly stoves, fully self-contained and with all of the comforts our guests have come to expect.
All of the cottages have TV, DVD, and stereo with i-pod connectivity, reverse cycle air-conditioning and wood log fires.
Fresh crisp linen, heated towel rails, spa robes and towels, paper delivered daily and complimentary use of bikes to explore the region as well as free track drops to the Bibbulmun Track for walkers are just a few of the many features at Jalbrook.
We provide a substantial breakfast basket for the first morning to enjoy in the privacy of your cottage including home-made bread, fresh eggs, bacon, cereal, milk, yoghurt, fruit juice and fruit in season.
