What our guests are saying...
Wow, wow, wow!!! Definitely one of the best getaways we have had. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, hosts Alan and Jan made us feel welcome and were extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed in the Rosella cottage which was stunning inside and out, a perfect retreat to unwind and just relax. The view from the spa was amazing, the gardens were some of the best we had seen and the little touches like the home made bread and the wood fired pizza night made for a memorable stay. We will definitely be back!
“My wife and I had a fantastic time away at Jalbrook. As a romantic weekend away in a log fire cabin is something special. It was very relaxing the moment we arrived at the property. We stayed at the teal cabin, with had a very comfortable large king size bed.”
“We have found our new favourite place in the south-west of WA. Alan and Jan were so warm and welcoming, and so helpful with what to do in the local area. The cottages were clean and cosy with all the simple touches making it so special. Chocolates on the bedside table, fresh fruit in a bowl on the table, fresh flowers around the cottage, and a warm freshly baked loaf of bread in a pot waiting for us on arrival all made us feel welcome and special. A newspaper was placed on our door stop every morning and we had bacon, eggs and cereal, yoghurt and fruit saw us through two breakfasts which was fantastic. We spent time in our fluffy robes after our rejuvenating spa.The wood fire was great to snuggle up to in the evening as it got cool, and Alan made sure the wood pile outside was replenished each day. The private garden was amazing and we felt like we were tucked away in our own little paradise. We will definitely be back, and were very sad to leave!”
My husband and I have just come back from the most incredible weekend away at Jalbrook Cottages in Balingup – a lovely wedding present from work colleagues. It has a 100 per cent rating on Trip Advisor, which we all know is as rare as a stylish mullet.
But what’s not to love about fresh baked bread in your cottage for breakfast, a private heated spa on the balcony overlooking the bushland and a wood fire to sit by at night whilst you enjoy your tasting platter and local wine from Barrecas Winery.
